With the McCartney-Mills divorce hearing in full swing newspaper headline writers should be having a field day with their puns, what with all those Beatles tracks to choose from.
But some of them have passed on the opportunity, with The Independent producing a particularly riveting and snappy headline: “Mills represents herself in showdown with McCartney over divorce settlement.”
So for pun lovers everywhere we are left with only the following:

The best headline – on the front page of The Times – accompanies a shot of Macca looking grumpy and captures the mood perfectly: “Yesterday…”
